About the Presenter

I was born in Iraq and in 1974 was forced to leave due to political problems. I traveled around the Middle East for few years and early in 1977 ended up in U.K. where I stayed for a number of years.

I have been in Denver for nearly 3 years on a permanent bases, although I used to come here temporally for few years before that.

I am currently the Imam of Islamic Center of Ahl Al-Beit.

My theological studies have been done in Iraq and Iran and while in London, I gained my degrees in Mining and Petroleum Engineering and worked as mining Engineer for a while. I also have an MBA in Management.
