About The Presentation

Feeding your Demons is a teaching and practice that invites us to acknowledge and nurture, rather than avoid and resist, those parts of ourselves and our experience which are threatening or problematic. By moving towards difficulty with compassionate awareness, and a willingness to fulfill an underlying need, we can create the ground for wisdom, insight and strength to emerge. Feeding your Demons as a formal practice was developed by Lama Tsultrim Allione, based on ancient Tibetan Buddhist teachings. The practice integrates Western psychological methodologies and offers a practical, secular tool for working with negative patterns, addictions, and mental and physical illness. This session will include an overview of the theoretical framework of this approach and a guided Feeding your Demons practice.
